Manuka Porridge

Manuka Honey and Apple Porridge

INGREDIENTS

40-50g dried porridge oats

200ml milk, water or non-dairy milk

½ chopped apple

1 tbsp raisins

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp chopped walnuts

Manuka honey to taste

METHOD

In a saucepan, combine the oats, milk/water and apple and place on a medium heat.

Once the oats are almost cooked, add the raisins and cinnamon and stir until fully combined.

Leave the oats to cook for a further 1-2 minutes.

Once the oats have fully cooked, remove from the hob and transfer into a bowl.

Top the warm oats with walnuts and a drizzle of Manuka honey.
